The Tower represents the Tower of ambition built on false premises. It symbolizes the physical world and the wrong use of personal will. The lightning is representative of the Divine fire that destroys that which is not from spirit and purifies that which is good. It comes from above thereby tearing down the illusion of matter. When man sells his/her soul for material ambitions, and uses spiritual knowledge for such ends, then destruction descends on him/her from above. Quickly and swiftly. It may also be a message that at this time, we need to "clean our spiritual house" so to speak while we still have the opportunity. And build from a much stronger foundation. |
