The Tarot in ancient times will be of little importance in our study of the subject. The present use and handling of the Tarot will be emphasized. Making it quite clear that the Tarot is still very much alive and well as we stand at the doorstep of The Age of Aquarius. It continues to survive serenely, elusive at times but inspiring. A living demonstration of the truth "that there are more things in heaven and earth...that are dreamt of" in most peoples beliefs.

When you buy your first pack of Tarot Cards it is analogous with buying a packet of seeds. Your flowers cannot bloom overnight. You must plant and nourish the seeds and wait patiently for the blooms to appear. Adopt this same attitude with your Tarot cards and you will be pleasantly surprised at how quickly your esoteric seeds will bloom.

Treat your pack with respect, handle them often to establish a psychic bond with the deck and yourself. After you have seasoned the deck with you vibrations, do not let anyone handle your pack and disturb your link with them.

If possible carry the deck with you in a pocket or purse,wrapped in a protective silk cloth. Sleep with them under your pillow.
