When you look upon this card, you will see Justice seated between the two pillars of positive and negative forces. It depicts her as the Middle Pillar which can be studied in the Kaballah. She holds her sword in her right hand, in an uplifted position, in the defense of justice. None can escape it. It points upward symbolizing victory. It is a double-edged sword to show us that action destroys as well as builds. In her left hand she hold the scales of gold, which are always related to balances justice. Balance is the keynote here. In a spread, it indicates that justice will be done. Lawsuits will be won. And most important balance is required. |
