Gevurah also known as " Din "

Judgment, Might, Power

This Sephirah represents the fearsome powers of divine punishment and wrath in the world. The Universe operates in Perfect Balance and therefore all goodness is never enough to maintain this balance. The need for the opposite essence of destruction is very necessary to maintain this equilibrium.

This power is needed to maintain control over the universe. Much like the process of Birth, Death and Transformation.

However the destructive forces necessary to keep order and exact punishment also contain the seeds of demonic Evil: the "Other Side" (Sitar Ahra).

In the Biblical sense she was seen as Isaac.

Primordial man imagined this essence to be found in thehuman Left arm.

It is associated with the Name of God = Elohim.

The Heavenly Court.
Serpent.
Fear (of Isaac; see Genesis 31:53).
Great fire; consuming fire.
The severe attribute of justice.
